A complete gut of 14 floors in downtown Crystal City was completed in a condensed 12 week schedule. Demo scope was a full interior-gut including SCIF walls, stone removal, concrete cutting, and a 12-story trash chute. Rock Spring also provided the LEED hauling services so that the project could meet the daily hauling requirements necessary to accelerate the schedule.

This specialized demolition included gutting two full floors of interior office space, rooftop work and exterior ground-level cooling tower and precast concrete removal.

Rock Spring partnered with HITT to fit out two data halls that included a substantial ceiling system consisting of Tate structural grid, an engineered strut support system, and custom sized ACT tiles. At almost 75% ceiling completion a design change prompted a full ceiling deconstruction/modifications and reinstall.

Rock Spring completed two 60,000 SF Data Centers and common corridor space in under 16 weeks. Our scope for this project included installing wire mesh partitions separating the CRAC galleries and data halls, acoustical grid & tile, and extensive rough carpentry work.

This job encompassed roughly 60,000SF of strut structural ceiling fastened to a precast double tee system with embedded channel and Gordon grid attached below. The ceiling system, installed by Rock Spring, was engineered to carry up to 70PSF. Through extensive man power placement and coordination, Rock Spring was able to complete our major contract items in less than 6 weeks.

Rock Spring completed an interior demolition and build-out of an entire six-floor building and basement, totaling more than 100,000 square feet. The drywall scope included SCIFF walls and intricate drywall ceilings. The job was completed in less than five months to accommodate the accelerated schedule.

Rock Spring was able to meet all requirements for this high-profile secure-site job where workers received daily screening. Scope included the installation complex switch-glass systems that required perfect coordination with electrician. In addition Rock Spring installed door floor closers that required slab cuts and concrete infills.

This office and warehouse demolition included a 10,000 SF reinforced concrete vault and required several licensed equipment operators for concrete and steel removal. Rock Spring provided hauling services, requiring multiple roll-off truck loads per day. The job was completed in 4 weeks, 1 week ahead of schedule.

This project consisted of 4 data halls and associated spaces totaling 240,000 SF. Rock Spring installed an engineered 4' x 4' strut ceiling with ACT grid and tile integrated within the system. In addition, we installed specialty wall protection, wire mesh security partitions, and vapor barrier. Due to the fast paced schedule we lead a team of 50-60 skilled mechanics at 60+ hour weeks on average.

Muraflex brought Rock Spring on to install two 1,400LF floors of their sleek Fino System demountable glass walls. Muraflex chose Rock Spring in part due to the ability to meet the aggressive schedule and manpower requirements, in addition to the wage scale requirements of the project.

This detailed space included both demo and high end drywall work for Fox Architects' new headquarters. Demolition included a concrete slab cut.
